​In Season Two of Remote, filmmaker Badir McCleary broadens his geographic scope by exploring new areas that challenge and expand our understanding of public art. In the sixth and final episode, “Historical References,” Badir visits Congo Square, Bourbon Street, and Armstrong Park in New Orleans; the site of fictional Sal’s Famous Pizzeria from Do the Right Thing in Brooklyn; the Blythe Intaglios near Blythe, CA; the Teotihuacan Pyramids near Mexico City; the Pyramids at Giza, Egypt; and the Martin Luther King Memorial in Washington, D.C.
