In Season Two of Remote, filmmaker Badir McCleary expands his geographic horizon, venturing into new territories that redefine our understanding of public art. The first episode, “Art Parks and Outdoor Museums,” examines how locations such as the Noah Purifoy Desert Art Museum in Joshua Tree, the John and Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park in Des Moines, Iowa, the Eclectic Menagerie Park and the Harrisburg Arts Museum in Houston, Texas, and the Grounds for Sculpture in Trenton, New Jersey, integrate art into public spaces and transform landscapes into open-air galleries.
