Enhance Your Art Collection With Affordable, Pint-Sized Works From Corey Helford Gallery

One of the best things about art is that it’s highly personal. While many art lovers find the idea of starting a collection intimidating, there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to choosing pieces that make you happy.

However, size and price are significant factors for those treading the new waters of art collecting. This weekend, Los Angeles’ Corey Helford Gallery (CHG) presents the tenth annual Art Collector Starter Kit, a group show featuring affordable 12” x 12” works from over 75 established and emerging artists across the globe.

Established in 2023, CHG’s annual exhibition offers art enthusiasts with limited space or budgets the opportunity to purchase original artwork from their favorite artists. “CHG was created with the intention of making art available to collectors of all ranges, with the radical assertion that ‘art for the elite only’ is a distortion of the real purpose of art—to create something that stirs the hearts and minds of everyone and anyone who can view it,” says CGH owner Jan Corey Helford. “Every year, the artists are asked to submit works that are 12” x 12” in size, and what we receive is an explosion of creativity in a multitude of mediums (including oil, acrylic, charcoal, sculpture, and installation). The result is an exciting and varied show where all in attendance are sure to find something to delight their tastes and ignite their passions.”
